Pre-Recruitment

The first round of CHC application is consisted of a Resume drop and two short response questions.

Resume Round

  • For Resume:

    • Focus on your actions

    • Quantify whenever possible

    • Avoid generic and false informations

    For Short Response:

    • Be specific; try to connect to your personal experiences

    • Be genuine; show us your passion for healthcare consulting!

Interview Round 1

  • STAR:

    1. Situation - What was the context of this story?

    2. Task - What was your responsibility?

    3. Action - What steps did you take?

    4. Result - What was the outcome of your actions?

Interview Round 1 includes a group case and a round robin (behavioral + market sizing).

Interview Round 2

    • Take notes whenever you are given new information!

    • When given the opportunity, ask questions! Whether clarifying questions to make sure you understand the prompt, or more questions about the scenario laid out for you, these questions will help you build your strategy.

    • Get comfortable with some basic financial calculations and be familiar with terms having to do with the healthcare industry, as well as business terminology.

    • Stay structured and concise in your answers. There are different frameworks you can think about, or make your own. Through this, you can make sure you are covering all of your bases.

    • Practice! We have linked here some practice cases specific to the healthcare industry (In the cases we have included example answers, but the possibilities are not limited to these! Don’t be afraid to be creative and think outside of the box)

Interview Round 2 is an individual case, which tests an applicant on problem solving and communication.

Interview Attire

For our 2 rounds of interviews, we expect business casual for the first round and business professional for the second round.

Business casual attire is a more relaxed form of the traditional business attire. Khaki pants/dress pants with a blouse/polo/sweater would be considered business casual.

Business professional attire is more dressy than business casual. A dress shirt/blouse with dress pants or a skirt with a suit jacket would be considered business professional.
